Wayne suggested these Annie Cancun Slides to me. Although I like the look of them (especially the 2 3/4″ heel), I could do away with the “toady part” as many of you know I cannot stand things between my toes.
From Zappos: The “Cancun” is a versatile casual wedge that can go from a skirt to capri’s. This two-toned genuine leather thong will add to your own personal summer style. Lightly padded insole for added comfort. The stacked wedge heel will update your closet and the rubber bottom offers added stability.

Above: Ruffle Flap Clutch, $10.49, www.target.com
Left to right: Danielle, $45.95, www.bakersshoes.com; Faux Leather Tote, $32.80, www.forever21.com; Bucket Bag with Woven Handle, $58, www.urbanoutfitters.com
No matter how much money I end up making I doubt I’ll ever spend $500 on a bag. There’s no need to either since there are plenty of fantastic creations out there for less than $100. Take this ruffle clutch from Target.com for just $11 - the detailing is beyond exquisite! Also visit BakersShoes.com. Their bags are really cute and unique given the price; the yellow patent bag is my favorite of the four above.
Note: Also peep Amici Accessories.com if you like your clutches cute ‘n’ cheap.

I stumbled across this wonderful online magazine while on My Space and had to let you ladies know about it. Clutch is an Atlanta based fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazine dedicated to women of color. Visit
www.clutchmagazine.com to get a heads-up on all the latest fashion trends, beauty products and even ask their relationship ‘expert’ for advice (he’s a regular guy, sometimes you just need that outside opinion!) The ‘Clutch’ site is planning to re-launch on April 1st, until then Clutch’s editor, Deanna Sutton, also updates their
blog daily so be sure to check that out too. I’m glad that we’re slowly starting to see an emergence of online African-American fashion magazines. I believe in the next decade or so hard copy magazines will become obsolete so get ready for a huge rise in ‘e-zines’ over the next few years.
Note: Also check out these other online magazines… Lavish, Mahogany and Jolie.

Kenya Moore arriving at the premiere of Screen Gem’s “Stomp The Yard” at the Cinerama Dome on Monday night in LA.
Jennifer Hudson arriving for her David Letterman appearance two nights ago.
Malinda Williams attending the 33rd Annual People’s Choice Awards last night in LA.
Meagan Good attending the premiere of Screen Gem’s “Stomp The Yard” at the Cinerama Dome on Monday night in LA.
Tia Mowry arriving at the premiere of Screen Gem’s “Stomp The Yard” at the Cinerama Dome on Monday night in LA.
I couldn’t pick just four people so I threw in an extra celebrity. Jennifer Hudson has really impressed me these last couple of weeks. Granted she’s lost a lot of weight but that is not what I’m referring too. Her style choices, or perhaps her stylist’s, have vastly improved. I think she looks so elegant in this black, knee length dress that she wore on Letterman… her stock is really on the rise.
Meagan Good, Kenya Moore and Tia Mowry were all at the “Stomp The Yard” premiere (I might actually go to see this movie for the dancing). All the aforementioned ladies looked fabulous, especially Kenya Moore who looked STUNNING in her plum colored dress. Tia Mowry had the best accessory of all. She brought along her cute fianc? Cory Hardrict and made sure the paps got a good pic of her rock! Congrats to her.
Finally, Malinda Williams channeled the 1930s with her short, wavy hair. The dress is a little awkward in the front but the color is perfect for her. Look out for Malinda in Tyler Perry’s next movie “Daddy’s Little Girls.” Until then peep her personal site here.

Green is good, as they say, and if they are talking about the Green Mod Bamboo Cabinet by Iannone Sanderson, they just may be right. Green, in this case, refers to the fact that this sleek, uber-modern piece of furniture is made from sustainably harvested wood and bamboo ply, and has been finished with a low-VOC, water-based lacquer. The simple lines and unobtrusive premium hardware of this functional piece allow its rounded rectangular inset, which features bamboo ply with an opposing grain, to take center stage. Choices abound in terms of finishes: the fronts of the Green Mod Bamboo Cabinet come in a choice of bamboo graphic, ash, beech or walnut, allowing you to coordinate this sustainable stunner with the furniture you already own and love.
